Obama Popular Momentum Grows

Daily Kos/Research 2000, Adults MoE 2%, Feb 23, 2009 - Feb 26, 2009 (last week's results in parentheses)

Good week for the Blue Team: Obama Popular Momentum Grows, net up 3 points. Congressional Dems, "goodwill rising" to 46% favorable

Not so much for the Red Team: Congressional GOPer's sag to 17% favorable, continuing the trend of more bad news for Team No Clue.

Major mis-fire of the week, Louisiana Guv, Lil' Bobby J -- the snake-bit GOP's newest lead messenger, performs an embarrassing FAIL in prime-time. Ouch!

The Republicans are still looking for love in all the wrong places.

Map of Faith & Values - God's Data Points

Interactive Map of Religious Affiliation & Values - from USA Today / Pew Forum

Further evidence of why Obama won by an average 9% in the 78 of the top 100 most educated counties in America, and only won in 17 of the 100 least educated counties. It also why the GOP targets evangelical, low-info voters -- who are easily persuaded by God, Guns, Gays and Guts values issues. Education Matters.

Bottom line: The United States is becoming more diverse in matters of faith, and long-term trends are showing substantial population growth in "better educated counties".
