Saturday, April 14 - Former Gov. Tim Kaine (D) invested some effective door-to-door campaigning, in downtown Waynesboro, this morning. He then addressed a SRO crowd that cheered his arrival, and were fired up for his run for the US Senate seat currently held by Jim Webb. The crowd represented a diverse cross-section of voters: Young and Old, Retirees, Vets, Small Business Owners, and Students. It's clear we will be seeing a lot more of Gov. Kaine in the months ahead.
#ICYMI, Virginia is a battle-ground state this year, and the Kaine campaign is building a formidable grassroots base in this historically Red Zone. George Allen may have the Super Fat Cat PAC Koch Bros., but Tim has a lot of real Virginians supporting him.
