Well, this is encouraging. Science & Engineering may not be the subject of prime time TV shows, i.e. Docs, Cops & Lawyers, we do however have some credibility in the gen pop. Glad you'all noticed.

But, wearing my other hat as a humble citizen journalist, comes with the recognition that the Press doesn't get much respect.

Have we evolved into a citizenry, where we only process the news that we want to hear, and filter out the rest? In my mind, that's all the more reason to use data to find the true signal in all the noise.
