I especially like having Darth Cheney swearing in our new UNITED STATES SENATOR from the Great Commonwealth of Virginia. Sweet!

If you missed our first meet-up... no worries.. we're back! And still celebrating the return of a our Democracy!

Who: Progress Augusta - serving Staunton, Waynesboro and Augusta County, a new informal, inclusive progressive social group.

What: The weather has turned sharply colder, time to gather with good friends around a warm hearth and share some holiday cheer. With the fast approaching Inauguration of Barack Obama and the final days of the GW Bush era, there is still time to celebrate, as we close-out the 2008 holiday season.

Come join our new group of friends, neighbors, political newbies, battle-hardened campaign workers, elected officials, wanna-be candidates, and veteran politicos. All points-of-view, from across of the political spectrum, are welcome. Bring a thirst and an open mind.
